POLICY HIGHLIGHTS

 

CHILD CARE FEES:

Due State imposed child to adult ratio, daycare fees are per SPOT, not per attendance.

Child care fees won't suffer alterations in case of late arrivals, early pick ups or absent days.

PAYMENT:​​ 

Child care fees are due every first of the month with a grace period until the 3rd of the month at 5:00 pm.

 

TRIAL PERIOD:

The first month of enrollment in The Yoyo House Home Family Daycare is considered a trial period and child care may be terminated without advance notice. After trial period has passed, child care may be terminated by the Parent(s)/Guardian(s) or the provider with 30 days advance written notice.

IMMUNIZATION:

All children attending licensed in home daycares, daycare centers, preschool or school in California must be immunized. We do not book tours and do not enroll children lacking immunization.

​

SICK CHILD:

Sick children can not attend daycare. 

We don't administer any sort of medications at the daycare.

If the child exhibits symptoms while present at the child care facility, Parents will be called to come pick up the child. We  follow the government/licensing guidelines and COVID zero symptoms tolerance policy may take place.

ITEMS SUPPLIED BY THE PARENTS:

Breast milk  or special foods if required; Pacifier and bottles;

2 or 3 weather appropriate change of clothes, shoes, hats, socks and diapers. 

 

ITEMS SUPPLIED BY THE YOYO HOUSE: 

Ointment,  wipes

One morning snack, one afternoon snack;

Hugs and boo boo kisses;

Arts and crafts materials, learning material, bed linen, utensils, cleaning supplies, soap, toys and water.

TV AND SCREENS:

There will be between 30 and 60 minutes of TV time before lunch.  The children watch nursery rhymes, abc and phonetic songs, Baby Einsteins, story time or mellow cartons. This moment helps the children calm down from exercise or outdoor activities while the teachers get the part timers ready to go home and prepare lunch for the full timers.  Other short Screen time periods may happen during the day, including dancing, exercising and teaching. The total amount of screen time at the daycare shall not exceed 100 minutes per day under normal circumstances. Babies and young infants normally don't watch TV but all awake children will be in the same room.

HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS:

The Yoyo House will be closed with no changes to the fees:

a) 2 business days per year for training with 2 weeks advance notice;

b) Spring Break, Summer Break and Winter Break;

c) All federal holidays and observance days;

d) 2 personal or sick days per year if necessary with advanced notice if possible; 

d) Due emergency, weather or public calamity.
